OpenDraft 0.2.0 · 3 Nov 2026
Printing and plotting, text fields and block attributes
- Plot or print from one dialog (Ctrl+P): choose the paper, scale and area, see a preview, and send it to a PDF, an SVG or a printer. OpenDraft remembers your settings for next time. Printing is new, so tell us how it goes with your printer.
- Single-line text, fields that fill in from your drawing’s properties, and blocks with attributes you can edit.
- While you draw a polyline, you can now snap to the segments you have already drawn.
OpenDraft 0.1.4
Opens on more Linux systems, and safer edits
- OpenDraft now opens on Linux systems whose graphics setup has no smooth-edge mode, where it used to fail to start.
- Up and Down on the command line bring back earlier commands.
- A command that fails part-way no longer leaves half its changes in your drawing.
